Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama has left English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur to join Canadian top side Montreal

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact for the transfer of Harambee Stars Captain who has only featured four times this season.
Wanyama, 28, signed a three-year contract with the club and will join officially upon receiving his international transfer certificate and passing his medical.
Wanyama who had been with Tottenham since 2016, with prior stops at Southampton, Celtic and Beerschot across Europe, has now joinedTheiry Henry’s Montreal Impact on a free transfer and will be joining a squad of players in which include former Barcelona and Stoke forward Bojan and ex-Spurs defender Luis Binks, who made the same move last month.
The Montreal Impact Sporting Sirector Olivier Renard confirmed acquiring the rights to Victor Wanyama, who was on the discovery list of the New England Revolution, in return for $ 150,000 in general allowance for 2020.

Sources say Wanyama could make his debut for Montreal against FC Dallas on Saturday.
Montreal are undefeated through three competitive games under new head coach Thierry Henry, and have booked a spot in the Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal round against Honduran side CD Olimpia.
