Dena conveyed Uhuru Kenyatta’s condolences to the grieving family, noting that the former Head of State was deeply saddened by Betty’s passing. She emphasized that the contribution was meant to ease the immediate financial burden as the family prepares to lay their loved one to rest.

In addition, Kanze Dena announced that Betty Bayo’s children — Sky and Danny — will receive full scholarships under the Kenyatta Trust Foundation, securing their education and future welfare.

Family members, neighbours and community leaders expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support, describing the gesture as timely and compassionate.

Betty Bayo, remembered for her vibrant personality and strong community ties, passed away earlier this week. Preparations for her final send-off are currently underway.—
