President Ruto Congratulates Ghana’s President-Elect John Mahama

President William Ruto has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ghana’s President-elect John Mahama on his victory in the country’s recently concluded elections.

In his message, President Ruto described the win as a testament to the confidence the people of Ghana have in Mahama’s leadership and vision.

“Your Excellency and Dear Mr. President-Elect, on behalf of the Government and People of Kenya, and on my own behalf, I extend my warm congratulations on your successful election as the President of the Republic of Ghana,” Ruto stated.

He commended Ghana for demonstrating democratic maturity and institutional integrity during the electoral process, calling it an inspiring example for the region and beyond.

“Your Excellency, I commend Ghana for the conduct of its elections, which clearly displayed democratic resilience and institutional credibility—essential pillars for the sustainable stability and development of your great nation. Your decisive victory underscores the trust and confidence the people of Ghana have in your leadership, dedication, and vision for a prosperous future,” Ruto added.

President Ruto emphasized Kenya’s strong historical ties with Ghana, rooted in their shared struggles for independence and aspirations for peace and progress. He expressed a commitment to deepening bilateral relations and fostering cooperation on regional and global platforms.

“As you take on this mantle of leadership, I look forward to strengthening the brotherly relations between Kenya and Ghana. Our nations share a profound friendship and a mutual commitment to regional cooperation and shared prosperity. I am confident that together we can enhance socio-economic development for our peoples and the African continent at large.”

President Ruto concluded by wishing President-elect Mahama good health, happiness, and success in his new term, along with the continued well-being of the people of Ghana.
