President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday February 2, said that the Government will continue investing in the capacity building & motivation of specialist law enforcement units as part of the ongoing security sector reforms.
President Kenyatta who was accompanied by Interior CS Dr Fred Matiangi was speaking during the opening of a new chapel at the GSU Recce Company’s Headquarters in Ruiru.
The President directed CS Matiangi to follow up the construction of a fully fledged school within the camp to improve access to education for the officers’ children.
On his part, Dr Matiangi thanked the President for his commitment to reforming the security sector through such enterprises which will spiritually nourish and strengthen their hearts as they fulfill their duties
