After JKUAT suspended all academic operations due to the ongoing lecturers’ strike, Laikipia University has now followed suit, announcing a temporary suspension of learning activities across all its campuses.
📍 In separate internal memos, both universities directed students to vacate the premises immediately and await further communication from their respective administrations.
📍 The institutions have assured students that updates will be shared through official university channels once the situation normalizes.
The ongoing University Academic Staff Union (UASU) strike continues to disrupt learning in several public universities across the country, with more institutions expected to issue similar notices if the impasse persists.
