Kisumu County Annual Ward Development Projects
✓GRASSROOT PROJECT FUNDS
Kisumu County allocated KSh8 Million for grassroots projects in 5 years, totalling to Ksh 40 Million
Grassroots projects were as follows~
1. Water Pumps for organized groups
2. Car Washing machines/shades
3. Dairy goats/cows
4. Boda boda shades
5. Uniforms for clubs
6. Chairs for groups/churches/ecdes
7. Environmental clean up by groups
8. Ecde learning materials
✓KENYA ROADS BOAD FUNDS
Each ward was allocated 2 roads funded by KRB per Financial Year for 4 years to do road maintenance.
Each should at least have done 4 to 6 KRB roads.
✓ COUNTY REVENUE FUND PROJECTS.
Kisumu county has 14 department, each department at least allocated 2 project per year per ward funded by CRF.
So we should have at least 8 to 6 projects per ward funded CRF.
Check if how many Markets have been fenced, have latrines and drainages .
Check how many floodlights or streetlights in your ward.
Count number of ECDEs classrooms build in your ward.
What about hospitals either build, staffed or equipped?
Water Department was doing pipeline extensions, community kiosks, water drilling and equiping,. Tank installation and what not
Education Department under able Leadership qualified staff’s budgeted for all ECDE textbook to all early Learners in Kisumu county, they budgeted for feeding program. Do you feel the impact?
Roads department was busy opening, murraming, grading and putting culverts in atleast 4 roads per ward , per year.
Machine based program also did at least 3 roads per ward.
Emergency department also stood by in case of natural disasters.
In case you have not seen ALL these projects in your ward for the last 5 years, blame your vote AND YOUR IGNORANCE as a voter
