Kabonyo Kanyagwal Teacher In Custody Over Alleged Sodomy Involving Under-age Pupils

A teacher at Siany Primary School Village 4 in Kabonyo Kanyagwal ward, Nyando sub county is being held at Rabuor Police station in Nyando, Kisumu County after the he was suspected on allegation of sodomy.

According source who spoke to Kisasa News on phone, Kabonyo irrigation scheme sub location area assistant chief Mr. Dan Ochieng Awino received a report from the village elder that there was a complain from parents that two pupils Evans Kidero and Philip Okengo aged 9 and 13 years respectively were allegedly sodomized on Friday 10th June 2022 in the school compound by one Meshack Otieno Owenga who is teacher on temporary basis at the school. The chief arrested the suspect and handed him over to the police at Rabuor Police station wher he will be arraigned in court after investigations

Sources further say that the suspect has a record of previous sodomy cases in court
