Launch of Second Phase of the programme will be lon Monday next week.

The programme which will run for six months in all the 47 counties was allocated Sh10 billion during the June 11 Budget, by Treasury CS Ukur Yatani

The programme which is set to benefit more than 280,000 youths mainly from slums was launched by the President Uhuru Kenyatta on April 25, targeting youths in slums across the country.

The first phase of the programme was first rolled out in 28 slums in Kiambu, Nairobi, Mombasa, Kwale, Nakuru, Mandera, Kilifi and Kisumu.

Kazi Mtaani has cushioned jobless young people from the economic effects of Covid-19. This has also improved hygiene and sanitation by making the environment safer during this pandemic.
