Enosh Momanyi Onyango (left) the Physical Planning PS nominee and but his namesake (right) erroneously published by the standard newspaper on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

A 29 year old Enosh Momanyi from Webuye West Constituency, Bungoma County woke up to a surprise on Wednesday January 15, after a local newspaper published his photo besides a name, Enosh Momanyi Onyango as the Presidential nominee.

This follows an announcement by the President that one Enosh Momanyi Onyango was nominated for the post of principal secretary in charge of physical planning

The Standard newspaper in their newspaper erroneously published the youthful Momanyi as the nominated PS

Seemingly overjoyed young Momanyi hurriedly prepared an acceptance speech and videotaped himself thanking the president for the job consideration, a video that has since gone viral on social media.

  • In his speech, he thanked Uhuru for ensuring that the youth were well represented in his government and looked forward to serving the people of Kenya.
  • “Actually I learned this through The Standard newspaper dated January 15, 2020, over the aforementioned appointment, I wish to thank his excellency for believing in youth,” stated Momanyi.
  • “My desire is to align my responsibilities with Uhuru’s Big 4 Agenda. As I conclude, I also wish to thank all Kenyans and I look forward to being a servant to all of you. Thank you,” he added.
