Mildred Owiso, aka Atty the admin of “Buyer-Beware,” Facebook page has been trending for the last two days after she recorded herself on video demanding a uniformed police officer to leave her car on grounds that no law enforcement officer is allowed to enter a motorist’s car to make an arrest.

On Saturday January 25, 2020 at dawn, Mildred was dramatically arrested with almost a dozen police officers who forced their way into her house using teargas in a movie-like arrest as the activist streaming live on her Facebook page, Buyer Beware.

The arrest was connected to a video clip that she shared previously as she kicked a traffic police officer out of her car and also inciting the public against the policeman.

After day-long drama with the police, she was later released on Sh15,000 cash bail.

Even as Mildred sighed for a relief from police, claims have now emerged accusing her of engaging in cyber bullying and extortion using her Facebook “Buyer-Beware” page.

Late last year, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko went all ballistic alleging that Mildred Atty Owiso and Buyers Beware Group forced Brenda Akinyi to commit suicide through Cyber Bullying.

A victim mentioned in an NTV documentary is Brenda Waru, who was humiliated through the same page, Buyer-Beware.

She had even reported her case to the police through OB Number 2/13/5/2017 at Kabete Police Station, after her ex-boyfriend allegedly defiled her two-year-old daughter.

This was even after Brenda messaging Mildred and revealing her real identity, asking for help.

Governor Sonko detailed how Mildred extorted Ksh. 1.5 Million from Co-Op Bank Management which was deposited into to her account Buyers Awareness Kenya AC. NO. 01148732841800 on 20th March, 2018 and how Mildred is known in UK as a Rwandese Lesbian Asylum Seeker by the name Mariae Ndlovicimpa and why she is wanted there for drugs related charges and abandoning her 6 Kids in Leicester, UK as well as many horror stories of dozens of victims of Mildred’s cyber bullying.

Mildred’s former partner Jackie agrees that at one time she (Mildred) would cook up stories on the platform to extort money from their business partners, and keep afloat.
