18 Feared Dead After Sudanese Military Plane Crashes Down in Darfur

All 18 people including four children have been killed  Sudanese military Air Force plane An Antonov An-12 went down, shortly after take-off, in Sudan’s West Darfur province; killing everyone on board, including four children.

The Sudanese army has confirmed that nobody survived the crash, which took place just five minutes after the ill-fated plane took off from El Geneina airport in West Darfur.

According to Army spokesman Amer Mohammed Al-Hassan, the plane was reportedly on a mission to deliver aid to the crisis-stricken area.

The cause of the accident is still not yet clear.
