I have watched in disbelief how the Ministry of Education officials are literally moving door to door in an effort to ensure every learner joins form one. This appears beautiful at the surface value. Infact the proponents of the process are seen to be overworking.

What amazes me is how the proponents of 100% transition have intentionally closed their eyes and ears to the reality that some of those children they are practically pushing to join form one are functionally illiterate and any attempt to force them to pursue real academic path is in itself dehumanising and thus predisposing them to manifest the the latent dysfunctional behaviours which could have been curtailed if the learner in question was exposed to a more favourable environment and alternative path

The reason why we have increased dysfunctional behaviours in our schools are because of the many pedestrian boardroom education policies that are not exposed to scientific evaluation and research.
