“ODM Has Been Biased During Party Nominations” Raila Admits

ODM Party Leader the Rt Hon. Raila Odinga, has admitted that indeed his party has had challenges during elections periods.

Raila revealed the party did numerous mistakes during the party primaries to select flag bearers for different electoral seats

This challenge has made the party lose slots after every nominations due to complaints being raised and at times defections happen, ODM boss admitted

ODM Boss was speaking during the burial of former Gem member of parliament the late Washington Jakoyo Ondiwo. 

Raila revealed that, this is what made former Gem constituency member of parliament the late Washington Jakoyo Midiwo lose in 2017. He also raised concerns over the expensive nomination process which at times political parties may not be able to afford.

ODM Party aspirants have always complained of unfairness during nominations, some have gone to the extent of running as Independent candidates

Raila however, stated that after the disputed nominations, they formed a taskforce which compiled their findings and recommendations which will be applied in the 2022 general elections.
