Nandi county K24 Tv reporter Isaiah Cheruiyot did an investigation to find out exact place where the teacher who had been lauded by kenyans for her exceptional performance came from and indeed the journalist established that the woman is a primary school teacher in Siyiapei Primary school in Narok County

Madam Joyce Sempela Malit has been a teacher since 1989. She was seen helping a grade three pupil whose school uniform had worn-out while playing during break time.

“This is a grade 3 girl, whose dress got torn all round as she was in the field, the child is young and her home is very far, so I couldn’t have released the child half naked,, I decided to sew her dress. I can never miss a thread and a needle in my handbag, so I closed the door, took my leso removed her dress and I tied her with my leso in case somebody peeped through the windows” Madam Joyce told Nandi County K24Tv news reporter.

After the photo of teacher Joyce Sempela Malit sewing her pupil’s uniform went viral, well-wishers led by philanthropic cop Sammy Ngare (pictured) have come together to buy uniforms and shoes for the little girl with a torn dress at Siyiapei Primary School in Narok county.
