A 40 year old man who comes from Seme Kombewa Sub-county is currently on the run in after being caught eating a hyena.

Obote Ochola left villagers and onlookers in shock as he literally ate the raw beast. He later lit fire and roasted other parts of the hyena and ate.
Villagers say hyenas frequently visit the slaughterhouse at night to scavenge on the remains of slaughtered animals.
Confirming the incident, East Othany Sub location Senior assistant chief Caleb Okuom said Obote who hails from Kochiel village in lower Kombewa sub location has disappeared to unknown location.
