Passenger injured As Jambo Jet Aircraft Hits Bird At Kisumu Airport.

As a result, one of the passengers sustained a minor finger injury which was treated.

Passengers were forced to reschedule their flight following bird strike incident involving a Kisumu-bound Jambo jet aircraft JM8656 on Friday January, 31 2020.

The plane was about to land at Kisumu International Airport when it hit a bird. – One passenger sustained injuries and was immediately treated.

As a result, passengers who had already scheduled to use the plane to Nairobi were booked in hotels and re-protected on other flights on the morning of Saturday, February 1.

As investigations to assess the damage of the aircraft continues, some of the scheduled flights may also be adjusted.

  • “In the meantime, we are assessing the damage with a view to bringing back into service as soon as possible. Some of our scheduled flights maybe readjusted,” Jambojet said
