The youth against BBI came out today and boldly rejected the BBI document in a country where people are scared and afraid to speak against it.
Michael Rapudo and Evans Mutuma are among the youth who have come out courageously to state the facts and hold the goverment accountable for the document.
In a country with a weak and non existent opposition it is a breath of fresh air to the people of Kenya.
The consortium encouraged people to exercise their democratic and constitutional right and not to be forced to accept a document they don’t want to.
Michael Rapudo said,”It is the right of Kenyan’s to accept or reject the BBI document no one should force them to do anything.”
The consortium’s vice chair Evans Mutuma said,”Kenyans should be able to practice their democratic and constitutional right without any fear or favour. It is their right.”
According to the consortium the BBI is a document that should represent equality and not favour the rich and oppress the poor.
