While speaking at the Harambee House, the head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua announced that former President Daniel Toroitich arap Moi who died this week on Tuesday, will lie in state in Parliament for three days starting Saturday, February 8, 2020 until Monday 10th ahead of his state funeral followed by a state burial in Kabarak on Wednesday.

The cortège, he added, will leave Lee Funeral Home on Saturday at 8:15am and will be conveyed to Parliament buildings with the casket being draped in the national flag and escorted by the family of President Moi.
Kinyua says Daniel Moi will be buried next week on Wednesday 12 February at his home in Kabarak.
