“I had an altercation with Babu bodyguards before drama at B-Club” Mark Okweri
Mark Okweri was at B-Club before the shooting at around 1:00 a.m and joined Embakasi East Babu Owino in his table.
Before the shooting incident, Mark Okweri who is a friend of the Embakasi East MP Hon Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino for a long time was at B-Club at around 1:00 a.m and joined the MP in his table.
The witness said that that everyone was having a good time at the club before the incident
- “At some time there was a confrontation between Babu’s bouncers and I… they got really physical and at that point, I left and went to Kilimani police station,” he said.
Okweri said that he could not tell if Embakasi East legislature was under the influence of alcohol.
Okweri said that he walked in the building to find ladies wailing and men running around.
The MP, wearing an orange T-shirt is captured smoking shisha and brandishing his gun before shooting the man who was standing next to him.
Babu Owino with a man are then seen dragging the victim outside the facility in the incident that happened at around 7.16 am.
Through his social media Hon Babu Owino contradicted the witness
