A woman on Friday claimed she was stranded at Rabuor market, she was carrying a baby on her back. Fortunately, she met a good Samaritan lady who took the ‘stranded woman’ to spend the night at her house. On Saturday morning, the “stranded woman” abducted a 9 year old grade 3 pupil who is the daughter of the daughter of the good Samaritan.
The women boarded a matatu to Kisumu where she was to flee to Nairobi with the little abductee. Upon reaching at the bus park, the pupil pretended to go for a short call and slipped off from the abductor’s custody. The Police managed to rescue the child as the suspect disappeared and still at large.
