Most television networks are airing the presidential election results which show how many votes each candidate has so far received.
The majority of people are perplexed as to why television stations and other outlets are presenting different numbers for each candidate.
This is how it gets to that, in case you were puzzled.
IEBC posts Form 34A on their public webpage for everyone to download and use in their calculations to determine the winner. Their numbers will increase and project more quickly the quicker a certain TV station or media outlet downloads them.
The easiest way for a regular citizen to protect themselves from media pressure is to simply wait for IEBC to upload form 34B (per constituency), which will total 290 forms. You can easily determine who the president is just by adding up all of the forms.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) opened a public portal for Kenyans across the country to monitor presidential results in real-time. The Commission granted access to the portal to tame misinformation and misrepresentation of facts and promote transparency in a cutthroat presidential contest.
The portal was opened shortly after the Wafula Chebukati-led commission closed voting in all polling centres at 5 pm following a 12-hour exercise, with a few exceptions where delays were witnessed during the day.
How To Check;
The portal has all the 48 counties where anyone can check per county how the four presidential candidates are performing.
All you need is to Access The portal via this link iebc portal
