In a report filed at Ruiru police station in Kiambu County on Thursday, December 16, indicate that a pregnant women died shortly after receiving COVID-19 jab.
Mr. Matu Nderitu told the officers that he and his expectant wife, Rhoda Mwikali visited Plainsview Hospital, Ruiru where they received Pfizer vaccine against COVID-19
Nderitu recounted that his wife Mwikali developed an unusual fever immediately after receiving the jab and Nderitu took her to Ruiru sub-county hospital for medical examination at around 7 pm but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police officers from Ruiru station visited the hospital and confirmed Mwikali had no visible injuries on her body. The body of the deceased was taken to General Kago Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
