Bashir Mohamud, a Somali-American citizen who went mysteriously missing on 16th May has been found dead. His family and friends had reported that Bashir was abducted in broad daylight in Nairobi, Kenya.
Family of Somali-American businessman and engineer Bashir Mohamed say his body has been discovered in Mwea (about 200 km from Nairobi) in Kirinyaga County.
“It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bashir Mohamed Mohamud informs you that the body of Bashir was found earlier today at Kerugoya level 5 hospital,” the statement said in part.
The family say they will not rest until justice has been served.
Bashir an engineer contractor who was given several tenders of development projects by the government of Kenya, went missing on Thursday, May 13. He was last seen leaving Mialle Lounge in Nairobi’s Lavington at around 6:49pm. driving his high-end Range Rover with registration number KCQ. His body was later found with two bullet wounds to the head and panga cuts.
