A Village In Kabonyo Kanyagwal in Shock As 24year-Old Man Chops Off His Step Father’s Arm And Flees

Police in Nyando sub county are in hot pursuit of a 24 year old man who chopped off arm his step Father’s in Kapiyo Sublocation, Kawino North Location in Kabonyo Kanyagwal Ward, Nyando sub county, Kisumu County.

The 32 year old Peter Ochieng Nyandiga aka oselu from Kokech village is currently admitted at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga (JOORTH) in critical condition

The suspect who hails from nearby Kowiti village in Reru School disappeared after the incident.

According to reliable source the victim Peter Ochieng aka oselu from is alleged to have a lot of family dispute with the wife Idah Ochieng.

The trouble started when Oselu engaged into affairs with a lady from Kwakungu village who married at Nyamware aka hoofer.

Following the dispute, Idah was forced to leave her matrimonial home and seek refuge at her sister’s home who is married to one Dickson Aol popularly known as D.O. in Kowiti village, Upper Bwanda Sublocation.

On the material day, Idah came back to collect her belongings when the husband wasn’t around. The husband was informed and immediately followed up Idah who ran back to her sister’s home for help. It’s here that Oselu reportedly assaulted the wife in presence of her sister and the brother in-law who raised alarm prompting Oselu to flee back for safety at his home in the neighbouring sub location.

So later when Dickson’s son Elisha came home in the evening and upon being briefed by his parents, he mobilized his fellow cousins Okocha, Toto and others, armed with crude weapons on motorbikes and went for a revenge mission at the victim’s home at around 20:00 hrs when they managed to get him and executed their mission and fled a way leaving the victim helpless.

The victim was thereafter rushed to Nyangande sub county hospital by good Samaritans and later refered to kisumu central sub county hospital (general) where a gain he was transferred to JOOTRH and admitted in critical condition following the profuse bleeding from the cut. The victim is currently receiving treatment at JOORTH Kisumu  while the suspect is still at large
